1) spend a little more and get a decently modern brushless tool on a useful battery platform, like https://slickdeals.net/f/19515030-craftsman-v20-20-volt-max-1-2-in-keyless-brushless-cordless-drill-1-battery-and-charger-included-cmcd702d1-59 or
2) just buy some ratty old Dewalt or similar off Craigslist that again was on a modern 18/20V platform
There's basically never a reason to buy a removable-battery power tool if it's not in a battery family you're going to reuse.
