This foldable wall bench stands out as a space saving garage or basement workstation with a surprising number of uses, from tool staging and charging to a dorm desk or cleaning station. The built in hooks and side hanging areas add practical storage, and the square hole pegboard can take standard square pegboard hooks. The compact size and roughly 220 pound rated shelf make it feel more useful than expensive to build from scratch. Caveats include questions about the true depth, limited usable interior space, and reports of damaged or wrong items arriving from the seller. A handy fit when wall space matters more than full size.

Common Questions (4)

  • The interior depth is reported at a little under 5 inches, and the usable depth may be about 1 inch less than the listed 18 inches. That matters if you plan to store deeper items or mount electronics inside it.

  • The square-hole pegboard uses standard square pegboard hooks, so compatible hooks can be bought separately. That makes the built-in storage more usable even if the panel is not a traditional round-hole pegboard.

  • Yes. It has been used as a garage station with hooks on the sides for hanging tools like a weed wacker and hedge trimmer, and it can also serve as a charging, staging, or small repair station.

  • At around $64, it can be cheaper than building a similar fold-down bench yourself, especially if you value the included frame, shelf/door, and hooks. A DIY version is still possible, but the deal price is low enough that some would pay more to make it.

Could mount your own pegboard to it, I'm sure you can match up at least some of the holes lol.
I was thinking the same but you'd likely lose 1"+ of useable depth though.

That being said, since it appears to come with some hooks, isn't likely a huge deal breaker.

For those who are concerned about the square hole pegboard, these are standard square pegboard hooks, you can get them on Amazon:

For the garage or basement, I could build similar myself AND use standard pegboard. It can't be that difficult to replicate a shelf / door that holds 220 lbs, esp if I use a 2 x 6 as the outer frame. Looks cool but would prefer to DIY it. It's a single 2 x 6 x 10, a hinge, a door / shelf, etc.
I would spend more than 64$ to build this. Definitely has it's uses

Does anyone know what's the interior depth? I'm thinking of using this to place my modem, tapo hub, NAS. Then the AP routed to the upper opening.

Got this today. Really happy with it. Bought two for the garage to function as specialist stations for different tasks in different zones. The sides have rooms for hooks and I used one of the sides to cleanly hang a weed wacker and hedge trimmer using the hooks that came with it. You can also use zip tie loops.

Kind of want a third one for the office.

A little under 5 inch, you can probably fit all that. Idk if airflow is sufficient.

I too want to mix pesticides, change babies, and clean guns on this thing.
In that order without cleaning in between

I ordered one and it arrived new.... but damaged. This seller is infamous for claiming new products and selling use/damaged/returned. It's a pallet resell company
