There's an Insignia QLED model that's slightly more expensive than this one (QF series). I would buy that one. It's much brighter and reviews are better.

I own the QF and I concur. It's frequently on sale for very little more than the F50.

I bought this about 2.5 years ago (65 inch). It has a surprisingly good picture, the apps are fast and it was an awesome tv for the price while it lasted.... but that's the problem, it died after a little over a year. Not sure if I just got a bad one or if these just don't last. One day I was watching Netflix and the screen went blank with a backlight and sound. But I will say that when it did work, I used to brag about how it was almost as good as my $2000 Samsung for 20% of the price. I paid around 400 for this tv.
