"The LG OLED77M3YUA (M3 series wireless OLED) delivers high-end brightness, reaching approximately 1,300 to 1,400 nits in HDR peak brightness on a 10% window, similar to the LG G3 OLED. Its peak brightness can reach around 1,000 nits, similar to other premium OLEDs, and it supports HDR formats, though HDR10 Plus is not included.

LG evo M3 OLED Series Smart TV: Watch Before Buying!
Sep 27, 2025 — meet the LG OLED Evo M3 the wireless TV that's redefining what wireless actually means now I know what you're thinking wait can't ...
What series is this? I'm kinda dumb when it comes to TV's. I just know about the b and c and g series I have an old b2
It's the M series. Placed/ priced above the G series. This particular tv is 2023 model I believe.
This series takes the HDMI ports off the back of the TV and puts them in a box that then transmits wirelessly to the TV.
It's simply a higher end TV with magic wireless connectivity that adds no additional latency. And of course it has a 5 year panel warranty since it's a flagship.
Plus it actually looks good when mounted on a wall, unlike the C Series.

My one connect box for Samsung caused so many problems. So many things to go wrong and all that data in the air
I had this exact TV (only upgraded as I got a killer deal on a bigger G5). Its an excellent set.
rtings says they're basically the same, display wise: https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/c...7849/88602
I would say, get this one over the C5. Better warranty and better looking aesthetically, as others have mentioned.

Having owned this TV for over a year, I can say that LG, or particularly my TV, does not have that problem at all, I also keep the box within 3 ft of the TV with a clear line of sight so there may be issues that I do not know about, but at this level I can tell you that it is a beautiful bright TV that has worked flawlessly.
So this M3 is better than the C5? Is it a better panel or higher nits? Is it better than the G5?
If you assume the M3 is basically a wireless G3 then it will be brighter than C5 in HDR but not as bright in SDR. G5 is a much better tv than this. Unless you really need your tv to be wireless I'd say go for the G5 which is frequently going for $2070 (after discount code) on the LG partner store lately.

I need an 83" so the G5's and new 6's are still too high in price. Need that size to drop a bit more for me to pull the trigger. Got my fingers crossed! I suppose I could work with a 77" but an 83" would def be the right size for my wall size.

This is down to $1649. I apparently setup an auto-buy on this item 3 years ago and never turned it off, so I got a surprise 77" TV on my front steps the other day that past me got for present myself.
