Have wanted to pick one of these up for a while. Anyone own this particular one who could give a quick review?
I have this and used it a few times. Bring a cardboard box or such, to block wind. But it'll make your hot water for tea/coffee/soup and cook food OK. If you have a group of people, best to have more than one to cook main and side dishes at same time (that sounds uppity for camping, but take the wins when you get them). If you do buy another of the same type, get one with a wide burner to spread the heat more. Have fun !
We have had so minute sudden evacuations in 2026, that I got this recently to add to my go bag. Nothing fancy; it will boil water and it will heat up or cook basic foods. Other buyer's suggestion to consider the affect of wind is spot on.

Great idea to keep for emergency purposes. Just have to always have butane canister too!
Def handy to have around, and I'm definitely grabbing one for emergency backup. Just a heads-up on safety, though: the gas canister sits pretty close to the flame with no real shield. To avoid catching radiated/reflected heat from your cookware over the gas canister, I'd skip the large pots and pans and stick strictly to small-diameter cookware that stays well clear of the canister side.
