Always wanted one of these and was waiting for this deal to pop back up. Sam's Club usually matches this too.

The Ecobee thermostat is great, but the sensor's never really worked for me.

That's unfortunate. I was interested for the sensor capability.

Sensors have worked fine for me for a few years. Can tell when space is occupied and tells the temp which you can choose to integrate for a blended temp with the thermostat and other sensors

Unless you have a zoned system the sensors are basically useless because if you place in a cold spot that'll get it to normal temp but your other rooms would be a few °'s warmer i have the state5 which is 1 before this and its been great to me from accessing alexa to change temp turn on off lights it shows the weather for the day everything i could wish for out of a thermostat

Depends on house too. I use sensors only and disable the thermostat itself - houses tend to place them in weird spots like mine's right in front of the garage entry so it can read like upwards of 5 degrees off the rest of the house. I also have comfort settings that alternate which sensor is active for a period based on people's habits since room occupancy detection never worked for me.

If you don't need the temp sensors, my suggestion is to just get Aqara Smart Thermostat.

have two of these in my house and i love them! each one is paired with 3 smart sensors and it's hard to beat the comfort these thermostats allow for. app is not great but after you figure the schedule out you never need it again.

You likely have something in your house that is interfering with the sensors. It uses 900MHz frequency. I have personally never seen one disconnect and I now have 8 sensors thanks to this deal at Costco. It was this price a few months ago.
FYI, if your power company participate in the energy savings program and you set it up you can get gift certificates for participating. Mine offers $50 just for signing up and $25 each season.

Not true. User "testilestandard" have a good explanation as to why.
A zoned system would need separate thermostats for every zone. Just having a remote sensor would not work.
