How do they do in the desert? Sagos and med fan palms and pygmy date palms all do well out here
Edit: I googled. They do better with humidity and not intense sun... Would not do great in AZ

They like shade, they will get sunburnt.

Decent indoors, but they just flat die if they experience a hard freeze.

Gotta take them indoors or a greenhouse during winter months.

Yes if brought inside it's fine but a single freeze*can kill them, even when matured.

I live in the south and they're sold frequently around here but as indoor plants
