I will say two things about these type of dewalt items including their storage shelving units. The company who makes them is legit. They will help you with any issue and send you brand new replacement parts for free. I got a bent 5 foot frame piece with the shelving unit I got once and i cracked one of the plastic spacers and admitted it and even offered to pay for a replacment. They sent me an entirely new frame section (2x pieces when I only needed one) and an entire replacment hardware kit for free. They didn't even ask for photos.

They are also well made.

I have been thinking about using it as a weightlifting bench! I feel it's much higher quality than any so-purposed bench you would get around this price. Of course, you would have to not mind that it is supported around the sides. I own a heavy-duty rack that stands on its own at the sides of the bench so I could use it with this. Could put mats and other stuff in the storage area underneath!

I don't know about your all garages but mine is forever dusty. Nothing like mucking your pants up every time you use it or having to wipe it down frequently.
