This Hunter backpack is a simple, low-cost bag that stands out mainly for the $19.97 clearance price and the waterproof-looking material. The fabric is described as good, but the pack also feels stiff and uncomfortable to wear. Practicality is limited, with comments calling it too small for a laptop, shoes, or easy diaper-bag access, and not suited to hiking without proper straps. Durability and waterproofing are also questioned, so it reads as a budget grab rather than a heavy-use pack.
Car campers packing light gear, because the backpack is roomy enough for casual carry and the material feels good.
It is reported to be stiff and uncomfortable to wear. The straps may also tear out under heavier loads, so it is better suited to light use than frequent carrying.
No, the deal does not appear to be universal. Some locations show $59.99 instead, the green color may be out of stock, and it may be in-store only in many PA and NJ locations.
It is not waterproof, and the top closure also makes it seem unlikely to keep contents dry in wet conditions. The material may be non-permeable, but the bag is not sealed like a true waterproof pack.
It is not a good hiking pack because it lacks the belts and structure of a true hiking backpack. It also seems too small for a laptop/work bag or shoes, and the access is awkward for diaper-bag use.
If inside and out all waterproof then might make a good hiking or diaper bag
diaper bag maybe? but i recall my wife refused to use backpacks as diaper bag. Not easy accessible.
No way it is good for hiking as it is a plain bag without any belts you see on osprey packs.
Saw them in person. Didn't seem practical for any use case. Too small for a laptop/work bag, to short to hold a pair of shoes so it's out as a gym bag, etc.
I did not get the impression that bag was waterproof given the top closure even if the material is non-permiable.
To each their own, wasnt for me
Mine had at this peice but IMO junk quality. Carry more than 10lbs a mile and those straps are tearing out. Material seem like cheap polypropylene seats. cant see it lasting long with faily use

The backpack's material can be non-permeable, which may help keep contents protected.
The backpack can be useful as a diaper bag or hiking bag if it is truly waterproof inside and out.
The $19.97 price point can make the backpack feel like a strong deal compared with full price.
The backpack may be available for pickup in-store in some locations across Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
The backpack is reportedly not waterproof, and the top closure may not provide reliable water protection.
The backpack is not comfortable to wear during use.
The backpack can be too small for a laptop work bag and too short to carry shoes.
The backpack's straps can tear out under heavier loads, which suggests weak build quality.
