That's a good deal, still haven't got around to finishing Alan Wake 2. Left it around Chapter 2. With the epic rewards I had saved from that purchase, my total came out to 30 cents. Looking forward to playing this first and then getting back into the sequel.

Yeah, Alan Wake is a great experience. Definitely worth picking up if you don't own it.

How is this front page when SteamDB shows $1.49 lows lately and $0.99 all time low (August 24, 2025)? (nevermind, not remastered, which isn't listed on Steam probably because publisher is not Remedy Entertainment and instead is Epic Games Publishing, but then again 2028 release of "The Beyond" published by Epic Games is listed on Steam https://store.steampowered.com/ap...he_Beyond/ so even that probably because reason is inconsistently insufficient to comprehend why)

You have your life priorities wrong. Quit your job and leave your wife and kids. Never EVER again let a game get to be remastered before you play it. Live well, my friend.

First Alan Wake game is absolutely phenomenal. Very different from your typical action/horror genre. Also, writing of character behaviors is top notch and exactly how real people would react in situations, which is a common complaint I have in a lot of the horror genre is behavior for the sake of the plot, even if illogical.

Not to spoil anything, but this dude starts encountering bizarre stuff, but you quickly realize this isn't going to be some lame psychological BS where it's all in their head because people around the character, normal people, are like "Crap, this is messed up."
