The main thing I would stress to everyone considering this is the UV light from welding will sunburn the fark out of you. Many times quicker than being in the sun. It is cancerous, just as the sun except you will burn much, much faster. You want zero exposed skin to welding rays. The little visor or whatever this comes with is ridiculous.
Now that is out of the way: How can this be $40? I have to admit it, I am tempted. I am happy with the $20 Seesii chainsaw and maybe $40 Seesii air compresser/blower, but this feels like it cant be good at $40. I just dont know....

I thought the same, possibly more dangerous than useful. There are a couple of things i need to weld, so i ordered one.

Thx, it wont let me use the code. Probably because i used the code on the welder in this post. Ill use a dust mask to cover my face below the glasses.

I tried code on version with helmet, and it took 50% off it also. Helmet probably is not high quality, but it looks a lot better than visor, and it might be worth the extra $10.

I have a steel fire pit bowl (a giant one) with a metal leg that cracked loose. I'll have to watch a few videos first, but this looks like what I need for that small repair.

Someone said the code works with the $99 set with the helmet and gloves and it comes down to $49. It's worth the extra $9.

Oh man, welders are LGBT too? I guess I'm just a generation behind knowing what's going on.

"20-120Amp output"... on a 110v plug? I'm not a welder so maybe this is a stupid question but shouldn't it be 15 or 20 amp? Or does it convert it to a lower DC voltage first.

Great, but if you already used the coupon on the $79 one (like I did) you're out of luck. The helmet and gloves would have been nice.
