Good price. I got 2 from DTO for $16.78 in March. I don't use them with my Ryobi link wall plates since they take up a lot of room. Instead, I just have them up standalone.

A tip: Add some tape or padding to the rear of each groove where you place your battery to create more friction and increase stability. Otherwise, the batteries "feel" like they could fall out.

These fit 18-volt One+ batteries only. The 40-volt batteries use an entirely different interlock

If these things are loose, I'll stick to my 3D printed battery holders. Those also don't leave the battery terminals exposed, either.

How would they fall out? It doesn't seem feasible from the pics and I have not seen this in person

I would highlight the word, "feel." Whether bumping into them could make them fall -- I have not tested that. I added the comment so that others were not surprised when they receive the item and experience some instability. My tip was to help others add peace of mind, if you like and plan to keep the item you receive.

Maybe others have a different experiences...

I believe this plastic shelf is supposed to snap into another plastic bracket that's $40.

Just a thought, I could be wrong. Couldn't you just anchor it to the wall with the two presumably screw holes?
