Grabbed the shark carpetxpert ex151 for $170. Wonder how this one compares to the shark.

Edit: just watched the vacuum wars video on this exact model number: 4123. While the steam function works good and is unique the suction is below average and definitely much less than the shark.

Yeah I was interested in this cause retail is like $300 but there are a LOT of comments about how poor the suction is in addition to leaking issues. Damn.

I just ordered without any issues. For $100 seems like a decent price to try. Definitely the suction seems consensus as it leaves carpet more wet than others.

Direct from shark. It was marked down to $200 then I used the first purchase/email sign up for a 15% off coupon.

The next day after I bought it they put out a 20% coupon so it was actually $160 but it was too late for me to cancel so I missed out on $10 cheaper.
