Does it work well? Also, how long is the hose? I looked and did not see it anywhere in the documentation. I want to install it in a basement but the windows are up high. I could put it on a platform but would rather not.

I have never measured the hose length. I figured 4ft out at most because it still has to bend to the window. It works well and very efficient.

Hose in hose, so the effective rate is 10,000 BTU. still better than single hose and theoretically less clunky than dual hose

Just got this the other night and it's great! Will take a little more work to get a good seal around the window but I am happy with it

It's a dual hose so more efficient than single, which has been perfect for my home office which has struggled with single hose units. The only thing is that it produces a fair amount of water even when using AC only so you'll need to either empty it every so often, or connect the hose.
