Yeah it's a fixed sku. It's a much better deal than adjusting the HP Omen 45L. With that build, you'd only get 16GB or RAM instead of 64GB for roughly the same price.

This is 64 GB DDR5-5600MT/s. 45L was 32GB 6000MT/s, also it had upgrade option to 64GB 6000MT/S.

Hmm looks like it uses a perks for work affiliate. Wasn't able to combine it with cashback sites like capital one, urlhasbeenblocked, or top cashback. In for one.

I did, that was $3600

This is 2TB - instead of 1TB
64GB instead of 32GB
CPU I think is a lot faster. I didn't upgrade the CPU since it was going to be more GPU bound for the machine.

all for $600 more. Was wondering maybe I get this and just flip the HP back at the price I paid for it and wanted to check what the upgrade prices were for more ram.

just looking to see if I can basically upgrade over the HP I already got.


or I sell the laptop 5090... idk. I will def flip one of them over if I get another desktop 5090.

Compared the the HP one I got, I think this one is better given CPU, RAM, and storage upgrades for just $600 more than the $3600 HP deal I got in March?

Nice. I'm comparing this to the 45L which I upgraded to 64GB and 9900X. It only cost me 4300 including taxes while this is closer to 4500.
Advantage of 45L: 64GB 6000MT/s with RGB, Wifi 7 + Bluetooth 5.4, PSU - much better, 9900X has more L3 cache(gaming).
Advantage of this one: 2TB storage, has better L2cache (almost everything else).
Tough one for me, but if you didn't do upgrades on 45L, this might be better.
