Debating on grabbing another one of these, or getting the 3.5ah powerstack deal. I've not tried the powerstack so I'm not sure if it's worth it....

If you want the powerstack, wait for a better deal, I paid $105 for 2 a few weeks ago from home depot, it was a daily deal. I got 2 sets so 4 batteries total for $210, they're pretty good so far. I really like these 6.0 batteries also, they run a good while. I wish we would see deals on the 8.0 powerpack again, I only got 1 when they were $90, what a beast that thing is, runs forever.

Powerstack is just marketing. A 6ah vs a 3.5ah is the bettert option all day long. I don't need my tools to look svelte, I need them to power through tough jobs.

What's the supposed difference anyway? A battery is a battery when it comes to power tools isn't it?Is power stack supposed to have more stable voltages or something?

Edit: never mind, just googled. Supposedly has a longer lifespan and longer battery life. But I seriously doubt a 3.5aH will have more runtime than a 6aH.

I lost my confidence on Dewalt over this battery. It comes with a blower kit. I bearly used it. After a year, it showed one bar. It will not charge. It dissembled it, and found one pair of batteries voltage 0 volt, charger protection kicked in and stopped charging but did not show it was bad battery somehow. Out of 5 pairs, there is another pair shows low voltage and I checked the capacity is less than one tenth of 6AH. Maybe Dewalt knew these batteries had issues and discounted accordingly.

They're not saying it has more run time, they say it will just last longer as in years. It's a flat pack battery like in your phone, instead of a round battery like an 18650 or AA battery. that's it.

Buy the most AH you can get for your money.

Great deal!

I remember back in December when they discounted to $65, there were people buying them in dozens and trying to unload 'em on Facebook Marketplace.

Thisi s a very good price. I usually buy when <$11/ah. So the charger is basically free. If I didn't already have about 8 chargers....

They have a 3 year warranty!
