Yes, if build properly. I have one outside and store a LiFePO4 battery + water pump for my rain barrels. It's not super air tight but has stayed dry despite heavy rains

Sure. It's thin plastic but ribbed to provide structural integrity. So you probably wouldn't want to sit on top of it after doing that.

I got two of these (they look identical at least, and likely came from the same manufacturer) last week as stash boxes around my yard. Tired of hauling 50lbs of tools and crap back and forth every day from my porch to the two places in my yard I can't stop "improving"

6" of rain in the last 60 hours. Went out today and retrieved a jigsaw from one. Bone dry. And lifting a rain covered lid doesn't let a single drop fall inside, either.

Genius idea to house a lifepo4 battery huey90. Going to get two more for my irrigation pump and a lifepo4 project.
