True, only thing is according to most reviewers the QM8 stacks up pretty well to the QM9 so if I can save a couple hundred bucks I'd be open to it. The QM9 doesn't appear to be far superior to the QM8 is all.

I think the reviews say they are pretty similar...with a little bit better picture processing going to the Qm9 and better off angle viewing
I think it also has the newer operating system of the 2026 TCL's

Due to available inventory. Since the firmware update the qm9k is where it's at for the money.
