I'm seeing $2,049.99 currently. Is that the intended price? I do recall it being less than that in the past posts

I question how is this a gaming laptop? It's more of an AI-powered laptop.

The deal was always for an open-box model. OP linked the brand new product page.

Is this a bit much for non-gaming? I would use it mainly for work - browser tabs, excel, google sheets etc. I like it bc very light and the specs would keep it relevant for many years but worried a little about the small screen. I am coming from the old school LG 17" Gram, which was also very light.

This form factor doesn't make sense for this much power... a tablet workstation?

It is going after Microsoft Surface Users. And the hardware is insane BUT....

Lasts about an hour maybe 45minutes playing games on battery. Throttled the second you go on battery. Power cord is big cause the CPU/GPU is power hungry. But the specs are insane... newest architectural CPU's and designed for mad power so will play games good enough. You are just limited to the size of the hard drive and you can upgrade for less then $250 to a Western Digital 2TB.

And if you don't play games... that is OK, but realize that this tablet/laptop needs to be plugged in alot and does not have super long battery life.

This form factor was designed for AI having the GPU and CPU share the same memory, considered a "game-changer" for local Large Language Model (LLM) workloads due to its unique memory architecture and AI-focused hardware plus can play games and handle just about everything.

I just want this to be $1,250. Like there is no dedicated GPU... the consumer is suppose to save money.

Id say double check the components before leaving.
Likely ending up with the wrong Memory and Drive sizes and brands.
They are the worst with QC on returns.
