Sadly it did not make enough revenue and Dead Space 4 pitch was denied by EA.

A little tip, if you put weapons you don't want to use cause they suck (like the line gun and pulse rifle) in your storage rather than your inventory, you'll rarely ever get ammo for those weapons and instead get ammo to the guns you like in your inventory. Such a big thing to take advantage of. I will say though, if you want to make this game terrifying, play it with the line gun and pulse rifle and you'll be in fights constantly running out of ammo. You'll be running around in pure terror just trying to survive every battle. Lol. I watched a YouTube clip of a guy who beat the game like not even knowing you're supposed to remove limbs and he was using the line gun and rifle. I felt so bad for him. He probably lost 10 years off his life. 😵 💫

I have only played the original, but I've watched a few people play through the remake on Discord/Twitch streams. Seems like aside from the graphical & under-the-hood upgrades, there are very few things that were changed in the remake. It doesn't doesn't feel like enough of a different game from the original. I guess don't mess with the formula as the original was really good.
If you've never played either, definitely get the remake and play it. Amazing game.
