Pros:
1. It is very light weight, almost comically light. I see this as a good thing for manuverability.
2. It is corded - no need to worry about filling with gas/stabilizer or charging up the battery. Also, no need to change the oil/filter/spark plugs. Also, doesn't struggle as much with tall/thick grass vs. batter mower.
3. This will reach most (if not all) of the front and backyard of suburban lots, with a 100 ft extension cord (16 AWG).
Cons:
1. Small diameter blade/deck means more walking.
2. Corded, so you have to be mindful and not run over the cord. Dragging the cord/reel gets old after a few cuts.
3. The deck height only has a few levels for adjustment.
This mower served me well for 2-3 seasons. I just used the mulching plug and never had the bag installed.
I switched to a battery mower because (1) I got tired of cord management and (2) I have cool season grass and wanted a mower with a height level I can set to leave the grass longer in the summer.
This will work for a lot of people with small lawns and/or folks that don't mind the cord/limit deck height options.
Hope this helps!
