I picked up one of these exact bundles back in December 2025, I got it for $86 on clearance. If yuo can find this, get it. The battery alone is worth more than the entire bundle if bought by itself !

As someone that has been using and owns each type of the Ryobi 4.0mAh batteries I can say with absolute certaintly, the Edge battery is awesome. There are also youtube videos that also back up this fact. You dont "need" this battery, technically any Ryobi battery works across all models. However this battery has more oomph where it counts, and if your using something like a sawzall, I guarantee you there is a difference. Some tools , no difference, but for some tools, its awesome to have. Anyway the deal is solid if you can find it, $86 is amazing.
