For anyone looking for an affordable heart rate monitor, I have used this one before and have had a good experience. It's way cheaper than a Garmin or Polar, is accurate, easy to connect with BY or ANT+. I had another Coospo HRM that only lasted 5,000 miles cycling but the difference is the other used cell batteries and the battery cap let moisture (sweat) in. This one is USB rechargeable so it's totally enclosed. This is a really low price. I only post links to things I have actually used and tested. The H9Z is the one you want not the other option linked here.

Thanks for the post. How is the strap on it? That hook at one end looks kind of flimsy, is it metal? Price history on Amazon is showing it was $21.59 in late April - I'm bummed I missed that.

Copped at $27. Was looking at the H808S which is about $25, but this one has USB charging and a bit less bulky
