I love Luminox watches, but I would avoid the mineral crystal on a hard use watch. It scratches pretty easily and is not very durable. If you can find a sapphire crystal Lumi on sale, that's the one you want.

Agree...Have had a Luminox w/saphire crystal for over 10 years of daily wear & miles of hiking and not a noticeable scratch.

Same. I have the original ANU steel case with sapphire, and have not been easy on it. Still looks brand new.
