I know you are not saying there is necessarily a better deal right now, but I am about out.
I prefer this price to abstaining. Apparently, you feel as strongly about soda as I do about the multipacks of chips being double what they were for a 40-pack, just a year or so back. They used to go on sale for $10 range. I have boycotted those lately, even though I prefer the portion-control aspect. Now it's no less than $15-$20 most of the time. They have lowered the qty and/or raised the prices, and the qty sometimes, to confuse less-savvy shoppers a little.
But I do not judge those who still buy them as having an absurd view of the deals available now. It's relative to their needs and wants, versus their budget.
So speak for yourself, and let the rest of us decide, just like every deal posted here.
Gasoline was recently around $5 per gallon here, but it has now dropped to $4.19, does $4.19 still seem "absurd" to you? If you still need it, you will pay whatever it is. It still sucks, but much less.
It feels absurd, if compared to a few weeks ago, when it was $2.19. But it is what it is. Maybe you could drive less, and many of us try to.
But feeling the joy of anything "lower than lately" is not absurd. And I know this is not a universal comparison because some have EVs, Hybrids, or Diesel-fueled vehicles (sorry for those!), or choose not to drive at all, or as much.
I did bitch in a couple of the multipack snack threads when prices jumped 50% overnight. But for me it is only a want. Soda is something I really crave. So I get why they are still popular deals for many.
I can accept the reality of times like this when there are not as many great deals compared to the past. I hope it improves, but I am not holding my breath.

This is such a good deal that I am willing to wait the ridiculous time frame to get this. I ordered 3 the 1st of the month, and is not going to be here until the 22nd.
