Nothing wrong with them. Just this particular brand/model operates at a higher frequency and absolutely cleans my teeth better than My Sonicare's. But I don't have any of the very high end Sonicare's either.

Mine runs at a minute and 15 seconds, with pauses about every 20 seconds. 2 minutes was what I was expecting. I'm sure mine isn't functioning as intended (regarding time). I bought another so I'll see if it's any different. I do go through 3 cycles but I wouldn't say I'm 'brushing'. I am pressing into the gumline at right-angles and let the sonic pulses do its' thing. I have 4 crowns on my front teeth and have never before gotten the gums to grow over the top of the crowns. With this brush, that has finally happened. That's why I like it so much and why I'm happy to do it for 4 minutes. I find the results nothing less than amazing.

I just timed mine and it's definitely a 2-minute run with 30s pauses...so yeah, seems like yours might be off. Weird.
