Only certain pens have ink that can't easily be erased (like on a check)

Never had luck with uniball .5 mm. Pay a little more and get the Pilot G2's .7 mm. Much better.

Used these pens 40 years ago in school. Agree G2 is better (but I like 0.5mm better than the 0.7mm)

Pilot DOES make their pens in a variety of nib widths, they are just not routinely stocked in many retail stores. They do make a 0.5mm pen.
