is there anything to critique from the tea community other than the loose leaf part for this? Been wanting to get into tea for a while now, and this deal might be it i guess

I have had these for years and love them. The fine mesh is great for keeping the tea completely debris-free, unlike other infusers that have larger holes. The only consideration is that this size is only good for single cups of tea, not for large pots for multiple servings, since you want to give the leaves enough space to expand and infuse. So 2 of the same size may not be as useful as getting the 1x large and 1x small option (though that one is pricier).

FYI, loose leaf is a positive, not negative. Loose leaf is substantially higher quality than tea in prepackaged bags, which are typically broken shards and stems rather than whole leaves. Plus no microplastics like those on the heat seal on tea bags.

I've used similar infuse balls/containers. Away from home like work I use then mostly.

But for @home I use this

I also used to use these or the stainless balls, but now I use this. Been at least 3 years and love it.

Looks interesting, but that inescapable branding on the side would drive me nuts.

Would really like to see something like this that can simply just unscrew or flip open at the bottom so you can just push the tea leaves right out. Having to dig out all the bits and pieces of leaves is always such a pain with these steel baskets.

As you wear your Nike shirt and drive your Ford. It's a tea strainer. Who cares.🙄
