This 77 inch LG B5 OLED stands out as a strong big screen deal for buyers who want OLED contrast and 120 hertz gaming support at a lower price than the C5. The price is about $300 below the C5, and the B5 has still been called a great OLED value even with the C5 expected to get closer in price later. The main concern is brightness, since 700 nits may feel limited in bright rooms or with sunlight behind the viewer. The deal also appears to have moved up to $1399, so timing matters.
Shoppers upgrading a bright living room TV, because the picture should be fine unless sunlight is flooding in behind the viewing position.
OLED buyers who want a large 77-inch screen now, because it is still described as a great OLED deal if they are buying immediately.
Deal hunters comparing premium TVs, because it is described as $300 less than the C5 model.
Viewers with windows behind the couch, because direct sunlight can make the screen feel too dim in daytime.
Shoppers waiting for a brighter OLED, because the C5 is described as having close to double the brightness.
Buyers who can hold off for a lower price, because the C5 is expected to get close to this price soon.
