This 77 inch LG B5 OLED stands out as a strong big screen deal for buyers who want OLED contrast and 120 hertz gaming support at a lower price than the C5. The price is about $300 below the C5, and the B5 has still been called a great OLED value even with the C5 expected to get closer in price later. The main concern is brightness, since 700 nits may feel limited in bright rooms or with sunlight behind the viewer. The deal also appears to have moved up to $1399, so timing matters.
The $1300 price can undercut the 77-inch C5 model by about $300.
Best Buy Preferred price matching for 60 days can help cover future holiday sales price drops.
The TV can work well for bright rooms when strong sunlight is not directly flooding the viewing area.
Delivery timing can be fast after purchase, with one report showing delivery on Tuesday.
The TV's brightness rating of about 700 nits may be insufficient for daylight viewing.
Direct sunlight streaming from windows behind the viewer can make the 700-nit brightness less suitable.
The deal price can change, with the price reportedly rising to $1399 with Plus/Total membership.
The lowest third-party new price was reportedly $1400 in February, which can reduce the perceived discount.
