I can't imagine anyone wanting to see this in 4K. The CGI was pretty bad when it was released and it has to look even worse on modern TVs.

Yeah, it wasn't the best but not as bad as some made it out to be IMO. For reference though, I think most modern super hero movies are a snooze fest (like the Marvel movies) and my favorite of all time is probably Darkman. The unrated version of this film was slightly better but not even sure if this has that or not (the movie was really gimped by the pg-13 rating).

Edit: Looks like this does have the theatrical release (pg13) and the director's cut (rated R version).

I have the 4K and it's worse then I remember. Absolutely embarrassing CGI.

Check out Escape From LA and MK Annihilation for more great mid 90's cgi. It looks like something out of an Atari game.

No idea what Ebert was smoking when he saw this movie. I think he gave it 3 1/2 stars (out of 4... when it should've been out of 10, maybe 20).
