Purchased these previously on sale from Costco and had to return because they did NOT fit our 20x25x5" Lennox system. Took nearly 1/2 hr for the Costco rep to allow the return without the receipt, and then only after we showed him the purchase on the Costco phone app since he claimed that he couldn't find it in our purchase list. We advise making sure that they will actually fit your HVAC before purchase since the box is big and bulky to take back to the store.

I use these filters and they work well, but they have some serious QC issues with the pleats. I'm not sure why a company of this size can't figure it out. There's certainly no better deal on the market for a 5 inch media filter. And these Merv 12 filters test out very well for air flow. They have not hindered my system and have kept my air good as well as the furnace/air handler.

I have a Lennox system and ran into the same problem. You need to buy the 4 inch filters, which fit perfectly. The issue is there is a discrepancy between the listed size and actual size.

Not sure about 5" ones, but for 4" there are two versions, regular fit and slim fit. The regular fit is actually 4.3" while the slim fit is 3.75".

I have noticed in last few years Filterete is pushing hard by eliminating the Air-filters OEM producers from all the major consumer stores outlets by the dirty marketing and sales techniques.. I will not buy the over priced Filterets air-filters to promote the OEM air-filters!!!
