Curious to see if any of these deals actually happen. Especially the Nintendo games like Super Mario RPG. They do not like making their games affordable anymore.
I miss Nintendo Select, Player's Choice, and the like.
Only order online from Gamestop if you're completely fine with the 50/50 chance you'll get a garbage case.
Still have no idea how Gamestop is still getting away with selling used/damaged games as New online. I'd gotten burned at least three times on completely separate orders spread out years apart from each other, all either opened and damaged cases and discs/cartridges, or sent in the generic Gamestop cases. Never again. These prices are great if you want JUST the game and are fine with gambling whether or not you'll actually receive a "new" copy. If you want these for your kids or somebody you know who doesn't care at all for the case, go for it.
I just stopped by my local GameStop to check out Ninja Gaiden on PS5, but they only had it in open box condition. I didn't bother to check the disc or if the booklet was missing. I told the worker that I only wanted new and left... At least he didn't try to convince me that open box condition was new.
Blackops 7 is dogshit . Not even worth at 15 unfortunately. Should be a sub $10 game .
I was once very much so into COD. Theyve been dogshit for awhile now. If it didn't require PS+ for online play, Id probably still hop on and play zombies on occasion but the PS+ requirement for online play is a nogo for me. I was an Essentials sub but I buy my games so basically the only perk was the online play and it's 2026...I'm not paying to play online. When my sub ended, my online play did too and rarely do I miss it. Anyways, yeah, to hell with COD.
The GameStop website was a little unreliable, when it came to stock.
Searching for Super Mario RPG originally showed my local stores before opening hours, only to switch to 30+ miles locations after opening.
Luckily, there's a GameStop close to me that I was able to check out, and they had some new copies. So if it's not too much of a hassle, just try going in person before potential scalpers clean up.
More than likely it showed no stock because people ordered for pickup prior and the employee fulfilled it before they opened.
Bought Brothership at 6:30am for pickup and at 2pm I got am email that my order was canceled. I used the settlement coupon and when I try to use it again it says it's been used. Awesome.

Went in to pick up my order. They gave me two black cases not sealed original cases. Asked them I ordered new not used! They told me it's new game but just don't have the cases since people steals the prints all the time and decided to do different way to sell new games? I wonder if I got fooled. I haven't ordered games from game stop for a while and I don't understand why they changes so much.
