also, last time I bought from amazon, they quietly cancelled my order and silently replaced it with a 3rd party, in the S+S in small print they just listed "we changed the seller" but it's a dark pattern where you won't even see it

The mask filters themselves will not expire this quickly and will perform as intended for a good number of years longer, but the straps are an elastic material that may degrade as they age. If the straps are tight and don't break, the mask is good to go.

There is a buyer's premium plus tax and you'll most likely have to pick it up from them so it's YMVV where you live.
