Does the pitcher have any discontinuous parts or poor injection mold finishes? Every single pitcher I've purchased has at least one design flaw that allows algae to grow in nooks and crannies in the pitcher. Still trying to find a good one. I wish they made these filter pitchers in glass.

All the new Brita pitchers now are designed with no flaps, just a open top... Meaning everything get in there. I've been trying to find the old designs with the flaps.
