For this price I would expect 32GB of RAM... RAM can never be upgraded.

Agree, this is what I bought before I had buyers remorse and returned it for the 14" m5,24gb,1tb for $1340 (brand new but OB). It's great but now I have buyers remorse again and would by the m5 pro, 48gb but been too long now.

WOW... holly shit batman... you can't. This is apple taking ANOTHER DAMN money grab. And this is why I hate apple...

I was just looking at the Asus ROG Flow Z13 (2025) the current tablet model featuring the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor... the ones for sale on SD all had 64GB of RAM and the hard drive is UP GRADABLE to 2TB.

And while the M5 is the better chip... the AI Max+ 395 GPU shares the memory with the CPU (just like the M5) which has done wonders for AI models. I just can't justify the prices that apple charges.

There is no RAM on these laptop, it's integrated memory.
What other PC at 2000 dollars has 24GB of VRAM?

Look, I agree that apple has the best hardware.... But to answer your question, AMD AI 395+ CPU works like apple's CPU and for under 3k you can find 128GB systems. Under $2k, you can get 64GB systems.

And yes, apple's CPU...50% faster single core, more efficient but it is still a hard pill to justify.
