HVAC people love trying to say it's some black art to install these and charge $2000 to do it. But in reality, it ain't rocket surgery. Some basic tools from Harbor Freight for a couple hundred bucks and you're set. Or just borrow or rent the tools.

I've installed 3 mini-splits, all worked fine for years. They're all still working as far as I know.

Add another 500 if you need to get it charged by a professional. You cant buy the gas yourself.

How do you charge this once installed?
Typically they come pre-charged with refrigerant but you will need a vacuum pump to remove the air from the lines once installed. (They run anywhere from $100-$150). Plenty of youtube videos on how to install them. One common mistake people make is coiling up additional line vertically but you want to make sure to coil it horizontally or you will run into issues with the oil pooling at the bottom of the line and causing a failure in the pump.

I recently bought the 115v version of this from the same company. It's been going strong in a 12x12 sun room in Florida. App just works through the smart life app but was really easy to setup with a included QR code. Google integration works fine.
How much did it cost to install?

You can actually borrow the vacuum pump from AutoZone for free. Smilie

I searched the listing and didn't see anything definitive. I used the Q&A feature and it said yes, but it would be nice to know for sure.
They all come pre charged.

Ive installed quite a few of these" mini split kits"
All of them have been precharged.
Unfortunately the copper lineset is very thin & i usually get a better quality one from elsewhere.
The install is the biggest thing , unless you enjoy tinkering with it every season😆

I like that it's R-32, which is next-gen. It won't go obsolete tomorrow. 220V is nice. Less hit to the electric bill. This will cost less to run than a 110V window unit half its size.
As for the Chinese no-name, I've dealt with AC units and they all use the same parts bin. Your local AC repair guy just orders comparable parts to install whenever "brand name" units break. Might as well save money up front.

5 star reviews and big enough for an entire 1460 square foot area. This is a great value and perfect for any space. I added one of these to my garage and its like a new living space.

Agreed, FeelFunn sounds more like a sex toy company. 😁

As an owner of a former HVAC company, one big question is if this uses inverter-based technology. Inverter ones typically have very high seer ratings like this one since the variable scroll compressor can have highly varied outputs and throttle back cooling to keep it running instead of stopping and starting which is what kills electric usage.
The second thing that is not mentioned that has me worried is that this does not explicitly say that it comes pre-charged. This usually means you need somebody familiar with subcool/superheat/glide to charge the system up.
It is possible to install it yourself and to vacuum pump down the lines with a good digital supco micron meter. You better be EXCEPTIONALLY handy and knowledgeable with electricity though as this unit is 230 volt.

Quite to install 12,000, so units cheap install expensive. Global warming potential 70% less than r410a, translation new A2L refrigerant = higher flammability rate
