Maybe not slick. But I'll just say that this is a fantastic action camera for sub-$200. Great resolution and stabilization, and I've had zero overheating issues. I've bought the latest GoPro equivalents over the years for ~$350 and fought overheating constantly.

Not for everyone but i ended up getting the insta360 ace pro 2 bundle at Costco. If you can't justify the price, you could sell off the additional accessories in the combo (like the xplorer camera is easy $50 on eBay). The ace pro 2 is equivalent to the dji action 5.

Anyone have real world experience in very cold weather (skiing or snowboarding)? Most action cams I have tried cant handle the cold.

I use this camera solely for skiing in WV. I've had it out anywhere from 10 degrees to 40 degrees. The battery life will be less at 10 vs 40, but get the combo that has the 2 extra batteries and the battery case and you are good to go. I keep the battery case in my inner jacket pocket so they stay decently warm. 20-25 runs a day with no issue. Usually only change batteries once.
It's a great camera and I can't justify the price for the 5 or 6 to upgrade.
