While you can in fact play soccer with basically any size 5, no this is not considered a match ball and there are far better balls for similar pricing on good deals (recent Adidas Tiro Pro) or a bit more if you need it asap (Select Numero 10).
Price is back to $19 for me... I'm curious on the ball quality as I've bought many size 5's that aren't high enough quality that I'd practice with (any cheap ones from WalMart or stores like Five Below just aren't the right plastic/feel and generally way too light).
Only one that was $9.54 was a ball with planets on it and a math one.
