had one of these for about 10 years and literally never had that problem. bad item or bad assembly? the thing leans backward, so there's no reason for it to be falling forward.

Just got this for the kids guitar. Guess what wants to fall forward all the time. Sent it back, it sucks.

had one of these for about 10 years and literally never had that problem. bad item or bad assembly? the thing leans backward, so there's no reason for it to be falling forward.

Very good price. They want to charge $20 at some stores for these types of stands now.
If you get a guitar, you need a stand. These are a nice choice .

my only guess is, back leg wasn't fully locked in its place (maybe because of damaged item), this will make stand slightly lean forward.

The only thing I don't like about mine is how easily the cradle part spins around. Mine always turns to one side every time I take my guitar off, so have to make sure the cradle is right side up before putting my guitar back on it.
