Nice price, thanks OP, beats their lowest recent sale price (per Slickdeals) by $5.

Better price than the Max 6ah, 4ah, and 2ah set that are on sale for $100, unless you need a 6ah of course.

The 6ah is on sale for $139 for 2. I have the (2) 4ah...would the 6ah be better option to add to collection.

These are not the max batteries. Wasn't there just a two pack for $99 or something close to that?

Yes, this deal: https://slickdeals.net/f/19516677. I'm not even in the ridgid ecosystem yet and bought it just in case I switch over.

Great deal, I believe you have to buy batteries with a bundled charger to get the lifetime service agreement, its been awhile since I checked. I think batteries by themselves only have a 3 year warranty as opposed to the charger and tool bundles because they are then lifetime.

It depends on the tools you have or plan to purchase. Drills, drivers, hand held saws, other small power tools, the 2Ah and 4Ah are fine for most users. There is no need for a 6Ah battery in a drill if planning on drilling a dozen or two holes, or using a circular saw for a few cuts. Personally, I prefer having more of the smaller batteries because I can leave the battery in the tool and not have to swap the battery when using a different tool.

This must have been a thing at some point because I see people reference it quite a bit. But no, standalone batteries ARE eligible for the LSA

All batteries are eligible for the lifetime service agreement now. It doesn't matter if they're bought separately or in a kit. That changed a few years ago.

Glad to heard that they changed that, I had a 2 pack of batteries bundled with a kit that only received a 3 year warranty a few years ago.
