10% off is lukewarm or bad depending on tool or item. (most items i have been personally tracking are hand tools. 30% off is good but have to get there before ITC members lol) Many smaller products are often 30% lol

Maybe some of the bigger tools or appliances......

I badly need a rolling tool cabinet (was thinking about the US General line). Is this an ideal way to get one or does someone have a suggestion for an alternative? Appreciate you all.

The coupon as displayed has very few restrictions. One use per customer per day over the three day period. As a ITC member (20%) off, it's not too bad of a deal - especially for items already marked down (apparently the discount can be applied to them).

20% off that big of an item is a grade A deal. Only thing better would be 25% which is only obtained once every couple years or by the lucky ones HF drops it in their inbox. Personally, I will be using this + opening a cc for an extra 10% off on a 42 in roller cab.

I think you are better off just waiting if you are an ITC they sometimes just have 100 off a lot of US general stuff. I bet if your not in a hurry it will be a better deal in the future than only what 40 bucks off.

Always keep an eye on your emails from HF. I just used a "We Miss You" 25% off coupon on Saturday that was going to expire on the 19th. They don't send them out often and have minimal restrictions. One time use, linked to account owner, can't stack coupons, and you can't use it for their yearly membership or extended warranty from what I remember.

Usually Insider pays off with such deals and freebies if you just buy any items in total of around $100 in a year. it's just high-level calculations based on 20 to 30% off for the members as well as high value and more freebies..

Do I have to be an ITC member before 5/22 to receive the coupon or can I sign up while making a purchase to get 20% off an item? Also, anyone have any experience purchasing a rolling cabinet? Do you have to go to a store that has one in stock, or will the store order one and sell it for 20% off even if it arrives after 5/25?

you can sign up for ITC on the day you purchase and get the 20% off.

No one answered whether this is a good way to get the larger US General storage. Looking at 56" bottom and top toolboxes. Pull the trigger on this or wait for Memorial day?
