The advertised specs for the 300W panel are fraudulent. You can prove this using Standard Test Conditions (STC), which measures solar irradiance at $1000 \text{ W/m}^2$.

The total amount of raw solar energy physically hitting a panel of this size is:$$0.8978 \text{ m}^2 \times 1000 \text{ W/m}^2 = 897.8 \text{ W}$$
