Everybody will tell you to get GL.inet routers instead. I love the TP-Link Roam.

Get the GL.inet ones. This has inferior specs, limited firmware support, is very locked down, and on top of all that, it has been sub-$40 as its regular price for months: https://slickdeals.net/search?q=Ax1500+portable&searcharea=deals&searchin=first&isUserSearch=1&searchtype=normal&filters%5Bforum%5D%5B%5D=0&sort=recent&filters%5Brating%5D%5B%5D=all&filters%5Bdate%5D%5B%5D=1095

Edit: Anyone who's giving this a thumbs-up at $50 is likely staff, a bot, or an advertiser. It was $38 regular price for the past several months.

I would concur and say if this was the 3000 model, then yes it's a deal. But this 1500 one has been less than this posted SD several times I recall seeing, especially during BF and Prime Days.

My link has all the times this same one has been $38 or less new, even down to the $20s as a refurb. 😀
