Not comparable, Ugreen stuff tends to be better built than your typical Chinese stuff. More in line with Anker. Also, neither of those are powered, while the Ugreen can be by connecting the USB-C port to a fast charger. That's a big deal with more power hungry devices, like USB optical drives, which often have read errors from lack of power.

I disagree with the idea of Ugreen's stuff being particularly high quality. They make a lot of garbage, and their chargers are a step down from Anker, full stop.
I'll also note that the 4 port hub that is advertised at the top of the post at $6 is not powered, so it faces the same issue you're complaining about in the other device.

I have a 20ft USB A male to female extender that I need to split at the end of the 20ft, plus use devices that need the 100ma to function. Anyone know of a powered hub that will do that?
