Thank you for posting this.

I ALMOST went through with buying this, and then I thought that it looked really familiar once I saw a picture of the case, in a closed state.

It's sort of "triangular" in shape and that reminded me to check my records...

Boy am I glad that I did!

It turns out that I had previously purchased the 8-piece version of this tool set all the way back in 2014. From Amazon for $80 thanks to a SlickDeals post!!

For anyone who is on the fence, assuming that the manufacturer has not significantly altered their product or build quality in the last decade for this set, I would recommend it. It has held up very well and I have not been GENTLE in any way with it.

I have used it with 60v, and indeed the stud drill which has enough torque to break your arm if mishandled.

The case is a good quality case (at least mine from 2014!), and the shanks are not the area of "of, that might break" concern that I've had with other brands. Metal quality was good. Self-feed is a good help.

(I do also have the Lenox Plumber/Electrician hole saw kit, a high end quality kit for comparison and a few extra high quality arbors, and the DeWalt kit does a good job with the joist drill, a drill press and other tools, comparing favorably ESPECIALLY for treated lumber).

Again, thank you for posting this.

And I'm so glad that I checked before buying this a second time!

In 4 1! I've got that grand piano of a right angle drill that goes with it. Super stoked about using it any time I'm not sore all over, I'm sure it'll be gentle when it knocks out those 2+ inch holes.
