Then you'll probably need a transfer switch, so you can switch your power from the grid to the inverter. There are automatic switches, but I think code requires a manual switch. Then you have a tiny panel attached to that switch so you can separate out the stuff you want to run off of the battery.
If you don't want to use the switch you can just plug your appliances into the inverter, which can be awkward but will cost a lot less. And in that case you won't need a hybrid inverter; you might be able to get away with a 2000W inverter/charger and a bunch of really long extension cords.
If you are 100% off grid, I get it, but that certainly can't be most of the people looking at/buying this product.

You can make this work the same way by getting an inverter with an automatic transfer switch and combine it with this battery, then have it installed at your panel.

Pecron as a standalone unit is about 80% efficiency & recharging it with a secondary battery (not this unit) I'm getting closer to 50% efficiency. Major power loss, might just go straight to the inverter, battery, and not use a power station for solar.
