I was just looking at this bare tool the other day and had one in my cart that was more expensive. Thanks OP as I jumped on this deal with the coupon!

Good price. I'm not sure you want the hammer drill. The advantage of this is the small size with M12. If I want a hammer drill, I have the larger M18 Hammer drill. I want this one to keep inside as a nice drill/driver with a small form factor.

Are they an authorized Milwaukee seller? If not, no warranty.

Edit: They're not on the list. I've read where the warranty may apply but it's based on the date the tool was manufactured. I won't buy Milwaukee from Amazon either.

I was getting ready to say the same thing. I bought an oscillating tool off of eBay. Turned it into a rapair place. They said that Milwaukee needed a receipt. Submitted it and the warranty was denied.

It's $99 with two batteries, bag, and a charger at Home Depot. That seems cheaper than this with no warranty.

Doesn't have to be authorized. If it was manufactured in the last 5 years it's covered. They just look up the serial. I brought in a Hackzall and all they did was check the serial. I offered my receipt and they said they didn't need it. Covered the $150 repair for $6. For only $50 as long as it works when you get it I think it's a solid deal.

How is $99 cheaper than $53?

I think he is factoring the cost of 2 batteries.

I have the m12 fuel hammer drill. Too heavy! The reason I picked up this is to use on the 95% of projects I do and not have to lug the M12 Hammer drill. I usually grab my 20v compact Dewalt because it seems light and better balanced than my M12 Fuel hammer drill! Excited to get this small footprint M12 for the weight!

Well, if you don't need those two low-end batteries, charger, and flimsy bag -- then it's no "deal" buying something you can't use/don't need.

Edit: And I see that combo at Home Depot for $150, not $99.
