They're posted a lot on SD and people seem to have a generally favorable experience with them. Seem to be a good value for the features and capacity, plus a really good warranty.

Make sure you do research on these. There were some issues and not fixable in earlier models. Not sure how they are now.

I swapped an Ecoflow 1024wh for an oupes 2048 wh and it's been great. I use it only a few times a month. Was nice to have when power went out overnight.

FYI: if UL‑listed or ETL‑listed is important to you, this isn't it. Great price though.

Incorrect informationPer an Amazon page but I agree in not understanding why they make it so difficult to find!Guardian 6000 uses EV-grade LiFePO4 battery certified to UL 2743 standard.

Where?

Even if some battery pack used within a power station was actually UL rated, it wouldn't make the actual unit, its circuitry, etc UL rated. I doubt even their "battery pack" is UL rated - some other LiFePO4 pack having been certified doesn't mean this thing's LiFEPO4 pack is. Just appears to be playing with words to trick buyers for a product that has no actual safety ratings. LiFePO4 cells themselves would be the least of my concerns.

I do not see anything of theirs listed as certified in UL Product IQ. Nothing points to them having even trying to send a unit in to have it tested. I have a relative that worked at the UL location nearby (they left because of how boring the work was).

After six months of ownership, I've already had two warranty replacements. While OUPES support has been responsive and has honored the warranty, recurring charging and battery management issues have made the experience more frustrating than expected.

I've been using the Guardian 6000 daily since I purchased it in December, charging it with my Zoupw 450 solar panel. As an experiment, I have it running my coffee every morning and my toaster oven from time to time. Unit seems to work okay but discharges a lot overnight so I turn it off when not actively using. It's advertised as "whole house" and while that might be correct, my experience leads me to believe it would not run my whole house for more than an hour max. The app is a PIA and initially there were a lot of complaints. Hopefully they have updated the app, but I haven't found the time to check. Overall, satisfied with my purchase ... not thrilled but satisfied. As an aside, this seems to be the normal price, and they have always included the "free" accessory bag.

I also have a Mega 2, the first one failed on first use with the expansion battery, I returned the unit and exp battery and have had a replacement for just over a year now, and has been fine....Idle power consumption is very high, but otherwise the unit has been fine. I own Oupes, Vtoman, Anker, and Ecoflow "portable power banks", Oupes id rate the lowest as its my only failure, but also "Okay" if your looking for power to budget.

i have had this in service for about 4 months with an extra g5 battery. Very happy with it. its running in "stby" mode meaning its getting fresh grid power 100% of the time and maintaining the battery at 90% (user setting) while dumping out 1000w continuous to my server stack. 1600 is the price that is constant for this, i don't see it being a deal price but its not a bad unit and the customer support is second to none.
