I got this deal sometime last year and the camera looked brand new with a shutter count of 2. Takes great pic.

Is this a pretty portable camera? Something for taking vacation pictures without being too big or heavy?

Can everyone help me decide between buying this Z30+lens kit or getting a used Nikon Z5 body on eBay for around $600?

They are very different animals: Go with the Z30 Kit if you prioritize a lightweight travel camera, video recording, or vlogging, and want a complete, functional setup right out of the box; Go with the used Z5 if your main focus is stationary or low-light photography, you prefer framing shots through an eyepiece, and you don't mind budgeting extra cash down the line for full-frame glass. a used $600 Z5 is body-only, you will also need to factor in the extra cost and size of full-frame lenses compared to the ready-to-shoot Z30 kit.

Yes, it's a perfect travel camera. It's incredibly light and compact, making it easy to carry around all day for vacation pictures. The only real caveat is the lack of a viewfinder. In bright, direct sunlight, it can sometimes be difficult to frame your shots when you're relying entirely on the rear LCD screen.
